Part-Time Cook

Ski Area Lead, Lift Operations
Take a leadership role in keeping the lifts turning and guests moving at the Middlebury Snowbowl! As Ski Area Lead for Lift Operations, you’ll supervise and support the lift operations team, coordinate daily assignments, provide ongoing training, oversee equipment needs, and help ensure operations are carried out safely and efficiently throughout the winter season.
We’re looking for a dependable, organized leader with strong communication skills who can work independently and provide clear direction and constructive feedback to the team. Previous ski area Mountain Operations experience is helpful, and supervisory experience is preferred. This part-time seasonal position requires flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and varying shifts. Snow School Junior Instructor
Share your love of skiing or snowboarding and help the next generation build their skills at the Middlebury Snowbowl! Snow School Junior Instructors teach ski and/or snowboard lessons to guests of all ages and abilities while serving as mountain ambassadors and working alongside the Snow School team to create a fun, supportive environment for learning on snow.
This position is open to applicants ages 14 and older, with those under 16 hired as Junior Instructors. We’re looking for proficient skiers or snowboarders who enjoy working with people, communicate well, and are willing to adapt and improvise to help their students succeed. As a Ski Area Associate in Base Operations, you’ll take on a variety of hands-on responsibilities, including base lodge support, snow removal, trail maintenance, event setup and cleanup, firewood collection, parking operations, race support, and other daily tasks that help create a safe and welcoming experience for our guests.
No specific experience is required. We’re looking for dependable, hard-working team members who enjoy being outdoors, are comfortable working in winter conditions, and are available for evenings and weekends, with some potential overnight shifts. You’ll also pitch in with trail maintenance, snow removal, events, base-area operations, race support, and other hands-on mountain operations as needed.

The Middlebury Snowbowl Snow School is hiring student Ski and Snowboard Instructors for the 2026–27 season. You’ll work with children and fellow instructors while learning how to teach skiing or riding in a fun, hands-on mountain environment.
You don’t need to be a highly trained or technical skier or rider to apply. We’re looking for Middlebury students who are enthusiastic about skiing or snowboarding, enjoy working with children, and are eager to learn and grow as instructors. If you’re ready to spend more time on snow, build your teaching skills, and share your enthusiasm for skiing or riding with others, we’d love to have you join the Snowbowl Snow School team.
Student Rental Technician
Help guests start their day on the mountain with the right gear and a great experience! The Middlebury Snowbowl is hiring student Rental Technicians for the 2026–27 season. You’ll welcome guests to the rental shop, help with boot fitting, select appropriate skis or snowboards, ensure bindings are properly set, provide mountain information, process returned equipment, and help keep the shop organized and ready for the next guest.
We’re looking for Middlebury students who are outgoing, dependable, customer-focused, and enjoy working with people of all ages. Previous rental or ski shop experience is a plus, but it’s not required—we’re happy to train the right person. Weekend availability is required, with opportunities for additional hours during holidays and school vacations. Student Cook

You’ll work alongside our food service team preparing everything from grill and fryer favorites to sandwiches, wraps, and salads while helping deliver fresh, high-quality meals in a busy mountain environment.
We’re looking for Middlebury students with basic food preparation skills who are dependable, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen. You’ll help with food prep, cooking, station organization and cleanliness, food safety, and customer service throughout your shift. Evening and weekend availability is important.
