Little Rippers: 8-Week Seasonal Ski Sessions
Little Rippers gives our youngest skiers an opportunity to take their first exciting steps on snow. Groups are formed by age, ability, and comfort level to create the right blend of fun and learning in a safe, nurturing environment.
Led by our patient, kid-focused Snowbowl instructors, these sessions emphasize balance, coordination, and early ski skills through play-based learning, gentle terrain, and plenty of encouragement. It is an ideal way to introduce little ones to the joy of sliding on snow while building confidence and independence.
Little Rippers Threes
Our program for 3-year-olds meets midweek on Wednesday, Thursday, or
Friday for one hour each week. These small groups provide a gentle and
supportive introduction to skiing with a 3:1 student-to-instructor ratio.
Little Rippers Fours & Fives
Our program for 4- and 5-year-olds meets on Saturdays or Sundays for
two hours each week. The longer sessions give young skiers more time
to play, learn, and develop their skills in a 4:1 group setting.
A season pass or lift ticket is required and is not included with program tuition.

Skiers only. Little Ripper 3 meets midweek for one hour with a 3:1 student-to-instructor ratio. Little Ripper 4/5 meets on weekends for two hours with a 4:1 ratio. Season passes or lift tickets are required and are not included.
Please note: Instructors may reassign students after initial placement to maintain balanced class sizes and provide the best learning environment. Group changes may occur based on student progress, comfort level, ability, or safety considerations. Snowbowl instructors and supervisors have final discretion in all placement decisions.

What is the Cancellation & Refund Policy?
How old must my child be to qualify for the program?
For the 3 program children must be at least 3 years old by 12/1/25
For the 4/5 program children must be at least 4 years old by 12/1/25
Is a day pass or season pass included with the program?
There are no passes included with this program. Kids joining the program should purchase a season pass. Visit our pass page to learn more about our season pass options.
Is rental equipment included with this program?
No equipment is provided for this program. Your child should bring their own gear whether it is personally owned, leased for the season or rented by the day. Additional information about rentals and seasonal leases at the Snowbowl can be found on our rental shop page.
What is the cancellation / make-up policy?

Can I sign my child up for more than one session?
Absolutely! You can sign your child up for a morning, an afternoon, a full day or a full weekend! Please note that you must register for each session separately.
