Side Hits: After School Ski & Ride Program
Designed for students in kindergarten through eighth grade, Side Hits gives kids an active and exciting way to spend their afternoons on the mountain. The program welcomes skiers of all ability levels and first-time snowboarders.
Each session combines guided instruction with on-mountain exploration, helping participants improve their technique, build confidence and independence, make new friends, and develop a lifelong love of skiing and riding.
Programs meet on Wednesday or Friday evenings for eight weeks. Tri-Valley Transit bus service from town is available. A season pass or lift ticket is required and is not included with program tuition.

Open to skiers of all ability levels and first-time snowboarders in kindergarten through eighth grade. Transportation: Tri-Valley Transit bus service from town is available. A season pass or lift ticket is required and is not included.
Please note: Participants are grouped by age and ability. Instructors may adjust placements based on progress, comfort level, group balance, or safety considerations. Snowbowl instructors and supervisors have final discretion in all placement decisions.

What is the Cancellation & Refund Policy?
How old must my child be to qualify for the program?
Thy must be enrolled in K through 12 for the 2025/2026 academic year.
Is a day pass or season pass included with the program?
There are no passes included with this program. Kids joining the program should purchase a season pass. Visit our pass page to learn more about our season pass options.
Is rental equipment included with this program?
No equipment is provided for this program. Your child should bring their own gear whether it is personally owned, leased for the season or rented by the day. Additional information about rentals and seasonal leases at the Snowbowl can be found on our rental shop page.
Can I sign my child up for more than one session?
Absolutely! You can sign your child up for a morning, an afternoon, a full day or a full weekend! Please note that you must register for each session separately.
