Step 1 | Register for Lessons
Dates & Times
This Winter Term, choose one of three dedicated four-week sessions meeting 2:00–3:00 p.m. on the same day each week with Snowbowl Snow School instructors.
Session options:
- Wednesdays: January 7, 14, 21, 28
- Thursdays: January 8, 15, 22, 29
- Fridays: January 9, 16, 23, 30
Please note: Once you register, your selected day is locked in for the full four-week session. We are unable to accommodate switching between days from week to week. Exceptions may be considered only in rare circumstances and must be approved in advance by the Snow School.
Registration & Credit
Register directly through the Snowbowl online store (not BannerWeb) for $125 — same price as last year. After completing all four lessons, the Snow School will verify your eligibility for 1 PE credit with the Athletics Department.
Program Highlights

Already confident on snow? Join an upper-level group to sharpen your skills, meet new people, and earn PE credit — or apply to become an instructor and help others learn to love the mountain.
Step 2 | Equipment
Equipment Matters – Be Ready for Winter Term Lessons
Having the right gear is essential for a safe, comfortable, and successful learning experience on the snow.
Bringing your own gear?
Make sure it’s ready to go:
- Are your bindings properly adjusted?
- Do your boots fit well?
- Has your equipment been recently tuned?
If you answered “no” or “I’m not sure,” stop by the Snowbowl Ski Shop before your first lesson. Our experienced technicians will make sure everything is set up correctly to help you get the most out of your time on the mountain.
Need gear? No problem.
We offer a comprehensive season lease program with everything you need to get started—skis or snowboard, boots, and poles. Perfect for first-timers and anyone without their own equipment.
Don’t wait—get your gear dialed in early so you’re ready to hit the slopes with confidence.
Step 3 | Get Ready
Now that your lessons and rentals are lined up, it’s time to prepare for your first visit. Having the right clothing and accessories will make a big difference in how much you enjoy your day on the mountain.
